Spyderco T-Mag – C115

The magnet engages when the blade is open, offering a small amount of resistance from closing, similar to a slipjoint. Liners on this model are Titanium as well, increasing the price. The Knife was discontinued very shortly, and was not a popular design. Secondary prices for the blade were much less than the street price. Nevertheless, it is an interesting design.

I heard that this knife was designed for the people in the Uk and other places where the knife laws are strict and do not allow knives that lock.

  2. spyderco source Says:

I don’t think that’s this knife.. the knife you are thinking of is the UK Pen Knife and other knives like it such as the Spyderco Urban:

  3. Wmpyr Says:

Since the UK Penknife was produced before the T-mag, my guess was that it was influenced by it… just a guess though 😉 I think it would be neat to compare them side by side.
