Description: The C101 Manix 83mm, also called the Mini Manix or Manix2 by some, is the smaller brother of the C95 Manix. Designed by Sal Glesser’s son, Eric Glesser, the Manix and Manix 83mm is one of Spyderco’s most popular high-performance knives. In 2009, the Manix 83mm was re-released with 154CM blade that is hollow ground, which is slightly longer than the previous CPM-S30V blade. 2010 Saw the release of a plain edge Black Coated model.

There were changes to the Manix2 (C101GP2) that were not detailed. The backlock was changed out for a caged ball-bearing lock, and it now features heavily jimped liners to aid with traction.
