Description: When the Spyderco Police Knife was released, it had the longest blade to handle ratio of any folding knife at the time. Extremely thin and designed with law enforcement in mind, the Police continues to be an excellent choice for EDC along with the Military.
There are 3 generations of Police, with the first generation and second generation being very similar. Major differences include the position of the lock back mechanism and the bevelling of the stainless steel handles on generation 2 models. The latest generation (3) of Police came out in 2008 features re-profiled G-10 handle and blade along with a full flat grind. Picture a lock back version of the military.

There are at least 4 generations of this blade. I have had two of these made with Ginami-1 steel. One, I currently still have.
